its disguisting the board are acting like little kids even tho we did stick with him whilst he was in prison,he could of easily jumped ship when we got relegated but he didnt and was one of our best players in the last 2 seasons its pathetic how they are treating him and more importantly its is making the club look pathetic at there actions. I'm beyond care now. We have lost/going to lose at least four of our best six players from last season (Carroll, Nolan, Barton and Jose). There is a chance that we could lose Tiote and Coloccini as well, you just never know with the Fat Man in charge. It looks like we will be fighting relegation next season when you consider that although our team looks strong on paper we have the following injury prone players...Saylor, Gosling, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Ferguson, Vuckic, Guthrie, Ameobi and Ba. Not to mention Tiote going to the ACN and all his suspensions. All of a sudden everything has gone very gloomy, but deep inside we all knew it would and things will never get better until Ashley leaves.

 

this! he has run his mouth enough, if he has been arguing with other players i.e. cabaye over free kicks etc then he has no place near our team. we need people like him to **** off. his professionalism is non existent and the fact that he gives off this "working class" player who plays for the badge is a load of bullshit, get him out to **** pards!

and yes, i have woke up this morning with a totally different view on things. not happy that he was arguing over captaincy at leeds and arguing about Cabaye, wonder how Cabaye feels through all this. We gotta get a really good Cabaye song on the go for the opener against Arsenal. Let him know that out of all the signings he is the one that got us all excited.

If Barton leaves it's because he wanted to but if he wants to stay, the MA and DL can't force him out. The board are playing a master-stroke really. His availability could still spark a bidding war and the board can change their mind if they want and take him off the transfer list and demand money instead.

 

If Pardew does play him I can see him getting the sack.

 

I would gues that the reason he is on the list and not out of the door is simple. If he was sacked you would have to pay his wages to the end of his contract. The club are still paying him but want some to sign him so they dont have to pay up.

 

we'll survive once we sign someone else we'll all move on.i think our squad is still good enough for a top ten finish as long as we have luck with injuries

In all seriousness though, we should stay up, there's worse teams in the league. We have players like Cabaye, Arfa, Marveux etc so I think we'll easily stay up and should have no trouble with 9-12th place in the league. Who knows, we might also be surprised...

 

Am I the only one who can foresee a situation where the goalposts are moved once a club expresses an interest? All of a sudden Mike wants 2m. he may have just wanted to start the bidding. Oooh further conspiracies to go with the other ridiculous ones like "Joey has engineered this move". ****in hell, this club does your head in! And yet I still come back for more.............
