He wasn't the best at Liverpool, but for the fee involved he'd have been a decent signing for a team like us. At least he may have beaten Zayates OG tally in one season!
Norwich City have confirmed the signing of midfielder Sergi Canos for £2.5m from Liverpool on an initial four-year deal.
You'd expect Liverpool to make good pickings for their fringe players this summer. Klopp will surely be looking to shift on about half of their massive squad.
Swansea expected to bid £10m for Ulloa. He's the sort of striker we should be looking at. Always seems a handful. Him and Robson-Kanu would be welcomed additions.
Manchester City are set to sign Leroy Sané from Schalke on a four-year deal for a fee worth in the region of €50m.
Transfer fees at the moment are ludicrous. Average footballers commanding huge fees - the game is almost as ****ed as our club.
Reading have signed 21-year-old former Chelsea midfielder John Swift on an initial three-year contract. Blackburn Rovers have now rejected bids from Newcastle United and Sheffield Wednesday for defender Grant Hanley. Stoke City are set to offer around £12m to sign Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina. Manchester City have agreed personal terms with Schalke midfielder Leroy Sane (along with a €50m fee). There's rumours that Man United have agreed a £100m fee for Pogba, but it's not confirmed anywhere reliable yet.
Is that definitely pounds not euros? If so I'd take that. Pogba is outstanding but this is like when they sold Zidane and used the money to sign Buffon, Thuram and Nedved. Plus they've already got Kheidera, Marchisio and now Pjanic, which is pretty exceptional.
