No they're not. Lambo's stated pretty much he isn't too. Hearing stuff like he does, then posting it doesn't make him ITK, he's just reporting on gossip he's heard or read about (and he'd said that). Other people hear stuff too, but don't post it. Some people do. Its up for discussion which is the purpose of forums such as this, but don't go attributing more validity to what is essentially hearsay. I'm not even sure why you'd think PLT is ITK. We're all in the dark together. There's light at the end of the tunnel. We all hope its the way out, and not a train heading towards us.
A very distinct possibility is that the current owners remain - under those circumstances and apparent small budget for player purchase how would you plan to stay in the Premiership? Think Leicester, Think Iceland, Think Wales, Think Lincoln Red Imps - maybe tactics and team spirit can get you through. My biggest fear is SB seems to have crossed the Rubicon with his "Ask Ehab" public stance & that will ensure imo that there will be no focus or objective or desire to generate a spirited committed focus towards survival given the current status quo.
I don't think we'll be waiting much longer, one way or another I expect a decision to be announced in the next couple of days.
I know they felt a decision had to be made, that we're only a month away from the start of the season and that Monday's deadline was get all those interested to either put up or shut up. They now know what the options are and it's just a case of deciding if they're happy to accept what's on offer, or not.
All this is a bit like Brexit, what we need is certainty one way or the other so that everyone can get on with the job at hand
Well the delays have made my decision for me.....no pass again this season....just invested the £3k I had put aside for our passes in doing next years Isle of Man TT in style.....had the chance to hire a house with a pool for a fortnight so I've taken it
I'd like to get over to the Isle of Man TT, it's supposed to be an amazing experience. My old man went for quite a number of years, I suppose I'll get around to it some day.
Go every year now......done everything from no tent & just a sleeping bag to small tents, larger tents, Back of a Ford Transit, B&B's, Hotels & recently using a friends house but after such a great year this year decided that as I had the cash I'd rent this house (maybe just getting old & soft).......it's an unmissable experience.....everyone who likes bikes should give it a go at least once
Back in 1966 or 1967 someone I know went to the TT. Agostini stopped to admire his bike and asked if he could have a ride on it. The photograph he had of him on his bike was a treasured momento.
I'm a fan of trials riding (Pre 65) just in the midst of finishing a BSA Bantam, there's some interesting clips of Guy Martin on you tube who was invited to do the 6 Day Pre 65 trials in Scotland - He was hopeless! He's brilliantly quick on a road bike, but terrible at slow really technical riding. I've been into motorbikes since I was little - but never done my bike test (forbidden by Mrs GLP!) as I'd more than likely be a fatality on one. I like all old British bikes - proper bikes as my Dad would say! I've been fortunate enough to see some terrific bikes my Dad has owned which included a Brough Superior. BSA Goldstars etc He's still got about 10 British bikes of which about about 4 are complete and there's 6 in various stages of restoration.
