Agree with this, think this may be after the Santos deal that fell through. Incredibly it wasn't a large transfer fee, so negotiations couldn't shouldn't be that difficult.
Possilbly fallout from the appointment of the new Chief Exec - maybe Sachs has had lot of power removed from his role so has resigned. We don't know what's going on and putting 2 and 2 togther might come out as 4 but could equally come out as utter rubbish - it's all speculation. Newly appointed top level execs tend to have a bit of a clear out in their first 90 days and surround themselves with trusted people from previous employment.
According to ALS he came in as part of the DeFanti set up and now there is no DoF his role has disappeared

We've still got Bain so it's ok. But a man in that position leaving midway through a window is not normal. There has to be some kind of disagreement. Whether it's transfer funds, replacement manager or what who knows, hopeful we find out. But the people sailing this ship aren't working well together at the moment i get the feeling.
There's no point having all these state-of-the-art facilities if those running them are bloody useless! We clearly need to get rid of the deadwood off the pitch as well as on it!!!
