Our football operations director has quit. **** is going down behind closed doors. In addition of potentially not having a manager to identify targets, we've got nobody to negotiate the pissing deals. All is not well at Sunderland. FFS.

It's a complete wild guess, but my first thought was he'll be pissed off working under Ellis' tight budgets.

 

Well if he was involved in the recruitment process he was doing really well so why quit?

It's Ellis I think is the problem, but nobody will say it. He obviously keeps going back on promises to his managers. Poyet talked about being frustrated with transfers, Advocaat hinted towards money not being there that he was promised and now even Sam is talking about being frustrated with transfers. He's the man at the top, so he should be fired at.

They will, not only that I'll called the new England Manager a bastard. As will the rest of the country when England crash out of another Tournament. I'm just getting in their nice and early.

I think Ellis has been the biggest problem but the consensus is he can do no wrong. The has to be a point where gratitude ends and questions are asked. We can't just remain in debt for an eternity while we're **** on. Well I can't, I stopped feeling in his debt a long time ago.

 

So do it in the middle of a Transfer window? Nah, not buying it. Something has gone down I reckon.
