No where have I said every other league, I said the French league, I haven't said La ligue, or Serie A of the bundersliege, just the french league, so please show me where I have said EVERY other league is ****. . So because he played well in the final for 45 minutes he is now superb, give it a rest Roof, and calm down FFS. As for Eder I don't care what he does now, he plays for someone else so if he goes on to be the best player in the world it doesn't matter. You have worn me down, the signings are great and with our current squad we are definitely going to be a top 10 side.

I have said it before and i will keep saying it that i don't care if we have the best players dominating games every week, If we don't have a quality striker we wont go anywhere, The Striker is the most important position to get right and no team and i mean no team will win things without one. The strikers position will be the position you pay good money for and every team with ambition that want to give them a better chance will do so, We are a joke with what we have to rely on with two players with Ayew & Fer being our main strikers who are not even strikers, How daft is that.....We are going to struggle big time for enough goals and it's frustrating to see us dominating games and failing in the final third as we have seen many times before. We know jenkins very well he will panic buy in the last week of the window and will bring in a striker that nobody has heard of who has scored a shed full of goals in some lower league somewhere and they end up out of their depth and the wrong type of player on a long contract that we are stuck with.....We need a proven striker that we know can score goals at this level and yes they don't come cheap because they do score goals at this level and as we enter our 6th season we should be able to pay the going rate for the most important position all teams must have to be able to challenge for things. I make no apology for believing the main problem i see is wrong with our team...
Yes just like last season and what happened... You want to buy a striker on the cheap.. A good premiership striker don't come cheap....they wont be good enough at this level as we have seen, so get your cheque book out jinx and do things properly or it will be the same old same old putting the clubs chances of relegation nearer....
How many times do you need to be told that it's not his cheque book to open? Decisions on player acquisitions are decided by the board, and as this board will soon have the yanks on it they will likely have a say on this also. And we are not going for premier league strikers, the reason is because they are over priced, being sold by teams that have these players as bit part in the last season or more, and are trying to rid themselves of these mostly over aged players. We will be going abroad for our players as we have done in other windows
Our worst season since we've beven up , we got 42 points and had 19 goals from the striker position . Last season , tied for our 2nd best season , we got 47 points and had 12 goals from the striker position . Who give a fuk about where the goals come from , as long as they come ....
If you so blind that you cant see the problem then there is no telling you and jager who the fcuking hell are you to know what the club can do or not Jinx has always been a man that wont spend money and it has caught us up and the biggest problem we have now is that it is dangerous to our premiership status......If he keeps on buying rubbish and not fixing the obvious problem a blind man can see then he will take us down...there is no question about that because you have to have a quality striker who is proven at this level to get the majority of the goals.....And if we cant spend decent money on the most expensive player any good team has to buy after all this time in the premiership then there is no hope and certain relegation battle when you will be the first person rubbishing players left right and centre......
I can see the problem Dai, the fact is you don't ! To have proven scorers in the premier league costs a bucket load of money, and we can see them in teams like Liverpool and Utd and so on, but even at these teams sometimes they don't turn up. For example both those teams didn't have a single player scoring more than 15 goals last season! So by your logic they bought rubbish! And in most teams the strikers don't actually get a majority of the goals, most goals come from the rest of the team, you do realise that don't you? And with you on here you want the club to spend about £40m on 2 players, even though they could be massive failures! We will get a striker in providing Gomis goes, at nowhere near the money you want spent, and probably a player on loan as well.
You pretty well bad mouth most of our players , you might as well mouth off about where they came from .... No surprise there .
thankfully I havnt seen anyone say we should sign that legend Robson-Kanu, Fer is one bad signing, ffs I would rather Charlie Adam, at least he can take free kicks and cross a ball
Every single team needs a good striker and every team know that to get the best it will cost and as a 5 year standing premiership side we should know by now that if you don't have a good striker in the side then no matter how good everyone else is you will fail and wont get enough goals....Even some lower league sides are paying more for a decent striker than we are.....jinxs hated paying £15m for bony and had a cob on about that but he really needs to get up to date and get his head out of his arse if he is serious about staying in the premiership and pay the right price for a striker we desperately need or i fear that this time we wont get lucky...
I hoped,and expected a new quality striker to have been signed now,to gel with his new team mates on tour. But then again.......this is Swansea.
No I didn't but if you can find something, what I said was that I didn't rate Paloschi, didn't think he suited us or the PL and surprise surprise we cut our loses and got rid.
