Again Austerity has been awful. We have people starving to death because of it. But yeah hard to please....
Not only austerity measures but the changes applied to the disability living allowance have been awful. Other than that he's been very average.
Andrew Lansley and Jeremy Hunt. The 2 worst health secretaries ever, both appointed by our outgoing PM. Who famously said, 'no top down reorganisation of the NHS'. Good riddance. Mrs May has a real opportunity to help build trust.
It is a slight concern of mine that she seems to swing into the realms of socialism. However, she is not Corbyn so I feel that we are quite safe in that respect. I would say that she sounds very much like Miliband, just carries more punch. She says the same things but you can take her more seriously. Miliband just didn't have that cutting edge, that a PM needs. To me it seems that with labour moving even further left, the tories have really started to cement themselves in the centre ground. I don't really think they can be regarded as a centre right party anymore. This begs the question, what does the future hold for the Lib Dems? A pretty bleak one, it seems.
I don't believe a word of the rhetoric she is espousing, she is just playing the "if you want to defeat your enemy, sing his song " card.
This was Thatcher's opening speech as PM, and she turned out to be the most devisive Prime Minister of the 20th century. "Where there is discord, may we bring harmony. Where there is error, may we bring truth. Where there is doubt, may we bring faith. And where there is despair, may we bring hope." .
If only she acted out those fine words... BTW, they weren't her words, she knicked them from St Francis of Assisi
