Zoos are largely really cruel. That's hardly a ringing endorsement. People educated enough to realise that a fabricated indoor swimming pool with ****s on boats isnt the same as going to Venice?
These were Americans in America. And of course we have dumb **** tourists who are an embarrassment when holidaying in other countries. I never claimed we didnt.
Ah, that's where you went wrong then, you set the bar far too high. You did know Vegas was in America?
And we have ones like the one who complained the National Portrait Gallery was boring because all it had was paintings of people in it.
It's all budget related. People have different budgets which will affect how their money is spent. Families will budget for a family holiday & City. If City choose to increase the cost of attending by, in some cases, 900% them families may no longer be able find it in their budget to afford City. They may, as a result, get a more expensive family holiday.
You are missing my point, I was saying about what there is to see in the context of their hotels and other stuff, I suppose that going by your theory the Paris Hotel version of the Eiffel Tower, about a third replica size I think, will be mistaken for the real thing, its just another copy like the Luxor is based on Egytian styles are we to lambast the Americans for making money out of replica's when the whole area is about trying to make money. As for the lions, I will have to wander now about all the birds caged up in the parks of Hull day in day out.
The mrs just booked the flights to Spain for end of July. The ultimatum was clear, "If you don't go, I'm still going and you have to pay for your ticket." So flying again. ****ting myself
Other clubs cost more to watch, even in some deprived areas, but have sold considerably more season passes than we have, People cite lack of money as a primary cause but there is more to it than that.
Erm, no it wasnt my theory. I heard somebody say it. Yeah they're unspeakably cruel too. I didnt say the caging of those lions in a hotel was worse than any other place an animal is caged up.
Nooooo Balken I havent got anything to moan about , far from it . My life has never been so good really. Its funny but really true since day one back in 2008 as mad as it sounds my life has improved big time. If i kicked the bucket tomorrow i would still say that. I wont....im ok at the moment...im always fine really. But big hugs for thinking that . Yup it sure is great in norfolk Mr Sydera. Straight out of beach cottage / shed onto beach my dog loved it... Kept waking me up at 6am to go on beach...
Have you had any hip/knee replacement surgery Trau? Well just back from Spain, yesterday, and my hip replacement set off the bluddy security alarms at the Spanish airport (Alicante) but not back home, odd that. No help to your dilema I know but just a point in case you are Metal Mickey like me.
If people have said to me that they can't afford it anymore, I take them at their word. If it's in the paper ...
There was a programme on about the Beefeaters at the .Tower of London and their training a while ago. Far more interesting than might be supposed. An American woman was saying to a Beefeater she loved history as her daughter worked on a site which was a reconstruction of Jamestown. " Jamestown was built in the 1600s you know. Do you have anything that old around here?". His face as he rolled his eyes and replied "All around us, madam" was a sight to behold.
It may have been me that unwittingly started this inane 'argument', but I didn't say that the Grand Canyon was the best thing about Vegas anyway. I said that when your in Vegas you should visit it. And I'm right...you should And while I'm at it if you go to Brisbane I think you should visit the Great Barrier Reef too ... even though I've never been
I'm scared of flying as I'm absolutely positive I'll be crap at it and no matter how hard I flap my arms/makeshift wings I'll be certain to plunge to almost certain death.
We've just got back from a cruise from Venice to Genoa. It was super hot. Back to reality now and work tomorrow
