Good point about Giacc. We're letting players go without letting the new gaffer get a look at him. If incomings are on hold. And they clearly are without a DoF in place. Then we shouldn't be selling either, especially excellent ones who just had a fantastic international tournament.
I agree but he has shown with Bologna that he can still do a job on the pitch. Just sad to see him go for a pittance.
Me too - completely gutted as I have rated him from the off! Always thought he was a good player and a great signing when we bought him. If Allardyce gets the England job, unless the player has specifically asked to leave (possibility but no-one actually knows!) then why are we selling (as @Bri OBE says!)

Undisclosed anarl. Ashamed no doubt. Obsessed with getting wages off the books when we can't bring anyone in at the moment. Personally I believe in the present situation Giacc was needed. We shouldn't have sold him until a replacement was found at least. I personally would have kept him this season.
