First thing I must ask is are we sure this was an interview?
Does it matter where an interview happens
Who is the best/most experienced man to make this decision?

As it stands only Trevor Brooking at the FA has any experience in playing top level(international)football so I'd guess he should have a say, problem at the FA is there are too many corporate people and not enough football people in the main jobs.
If it doesn't matter where the FA conduct business there would be no need for them to own a multi million pound building, they could always hire church halls or pub party rooms, it'd save a fortune and maybe let amateur and kids teams pay less in league and ref fees.:emoticon-0100-smile

They'd have to be desperate or suicidal to choose that as an option.:emoticon-0100-smile

Replacing Roy with fat Sam, Harry Redknapp or Steve Bruce and expecting success is like upgrading a Robin Reliant with a Lada and expecting it to win at the drag strip.

    Genuine question:

When was the last time an English manager won something big in any country?

We should be looking for best person for the job... Not a bunch of chubby old men who just happen to be English.

If the best qualification they have for being England manager is that they're English they shouldn't be considered.

Of the last 4 or 5 managers England has had the best ones were a Swede and a Italian. (not that the Swede was much more than a turnip)

The biggest trophy fat Sam has ever won (in case anyone is curious)...

Division 3 title with Notts county in 1998.

    Other things he's won..
Nada. Although he has been promoted a few times.

A fat man who once managed Limerick,
Had him a suck on ole Greg Dyke's Dick,
    He said it was good,
    As he slobberred that wood,
Now England fans sob 'cause he's **** as sick.
