Don't feel bad Bri, we all are.

The worst of the bunch, McClaren, Hodgson, Redknapp.

I wonder if it's worth another crack with Di Canio now the bad lads have been booted, just shift John O'Shea out and fetch back the mad Italian!

Based on Sam Leaving, messing up your pre-season. If he goes, are the list of players you’re currently seeking the same as what the new manager wants. New training regimes, new styles of football, new coaches. It's a big change and I am a firm believer in continuity in a football club. Conte has waltzed into Chelsea 5 weeks prior to the season beginning whilst Arsene Wenger has been working and preparing, that’s why I think Arsenal will do well this season, they have such a head start. Unless you get someone like Frank De Boer in, losing sam and not replacing him properly could be very damaging in a very competitive league!

He's waiting for Barry Scott to get sacked by Cillit Bang.

True and our lack of new signings will be to our benefit

Can't see Barry Scott getting sacked, not the way he wipes away the opposition.

Well if we're digging up 'wide of the mark' predictions, I might have to look for the thread where you were insistant that the title is between the same clubs every season and I was arguing that everybody has a shout.

Besides which, I still have faith in Adnan... I just didn't see Rashford coming <laugh>

Couldn't get a start last season in Germany, left out of the national squad and coming up for the 22 with United signing forwards.

I reckon he'll be back out on loan or sold tbh.

Tel, Moyes didn't work for your club but do you think he would work with our club?

It seems Man U were a bit too much for him but a club our size might suit him.
Everton and us are similarly sized clubs and perhaps that is the type of club he does best with. No huge money signings to contend with here.

Possibly, strangely enough his best season come under Moyes so he might be sold/loaned to you lot.

I don't know why we let him go to Dortmund, he couldn't get a game for us and they were/are the better team.

He didn't work with Real Sociedad very well either, but his excuse will probably be language barrier.

He could do well with your team, of course, but the way he come into United and cleared the decks, as if his team of 'never won anything' staff were far superior and ours weren't even worth considering (despite winning everything), just shows he's either incredibly arrogant, or incredibly stupid.

I'm not very well placed to comment mate, maybe Everton fans will give you a better indication of his supposed 'qualities'.

Hodgson was out of contract anyway and the likelihood of him staying on was slim in any case regardless of the result of our Euro's so the chances of this happening were quite high in any case.

Just a shame they weren't looking earlier.

Your point in bold still stands which I and every one else in England agree 100% though!!

Best odds on Sam are now 2/5 with some as short as 1/5.
The diving Jarman has drifted out to as much as 12/1.
