Don't shoot the messenger, but Bet365 have Steve McClaren at 3rd or 4th fav to replace him at 8/1. Good Luck next season! your gonna need it!
Last time Sam was interviewed the FA ****ed the interview up because they didn't have equipment for Sam to conduct a powerpoint presentation. Safe to say he goes a bit further than expected and is required which is worrying. Sam will have been prepared.
I reckon it's worth £2 on Gary Neville at 50/1 mind, he's got interim written all over him, with Wenger coming in after this season is over.
The media have Moyes out as main candidate to replace Allardyce by the looks of it. There's a lot of pro's and a lot of con's to that man.
Just been reading about it, the F de Bore next up, haven't a clue who i would like to take the job on assuming Sam goes. Time for "new manager thread" i think.
It's nailed on to be Moyes, he made our last three final shortlists, he's out of work, Ellis could have him in fast. On his Everton performance fine. But the **** up at united with the resources he had, no thanks. Who shows world class defenders videos of Jagielka ffs. Big no from me, but I can't see any other immediate option so I think Ellis will be all over it.
Wrong job for him and everyone knew it. It was the wrong job for VDG and I don't think Mourinho will do much better. United has become smaller than the sum of it's parts imo and will take ages to recover. There are quite a few other candidates I'd hate tbh, McClaren, Hodgson, etc.
Frank De Boer is also unemployed mind. I think you should go for Pulis. I think he'd do well with your team.
By either asking/pushing the FA to let us know ASAP or tell SA you needs to make a decision leave and see what happens with England or stay and manage us. As much as want SA to stay the season starts in 4 weeks we have to know.
Pulis would be well placed to finish the foundations Sam has laid. But he has a job, that means Ellis putting his hands in his pocket. Can't see it. De Boer would be great but I think Ellis is once bitten twice shy kind of guy. Took four failing overseas managers to put his faith back in British managers after he lost faith in British managers. I think he'll now be scared of overseas managers. Don't ask why, I just think he's complete dipshit at these sort of decisions and lets other failures govern his future decisions too much. Sam worked, so he'll only be interested in a British manager with PL experience. It will be Moyes.
