The HDM have suggested some keepers to replace McGregor... Emiliano Martinez - Arsenal Mark Schwarzer - Leicester Sergio Romero - Man United Brad Guzan - Villa Alex Manninger - Free Agent (currently on trial at Liverpool) Willy Caballero - Man City http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/8203...tory-29507147-detail/story.html#ixzz4EHW4P8kr Some not bad suggestions, particularly Martinez and Romero.
Schwarzer would be terrible. He's cooked. Begged for a move back to the A-League and no one wanted him.
I think we should grab Schwarzer just to sit on the pine. He done that the last 2 years and got 2 Premier League Champions medals!!!
We need to give The Jak at least the chance to have a go, otherwise why is he here? We've got 2 senior keepers on our books, if one of them gets injured then we can put Mannion on the bench. If we get another injury then loan somebody in. Done.
Jak's not a shoe in though BCC even if we sign another keeper.. Who's to say that Kusak hasn't shown more than him pre season? He's certainly more of a physical presence... we can knock him until he's been out there for us..
Martinez or Manninger I'm guessing would be easier to get here, Apart from Guzan all the others are no2 keepers that their clubs would not want to lose.
Caballero at Man City looked good in the games he played last season. Arguably better than the error prone Hart.
Yes, instead of Mcgregor not as well as. Bruce himself has said he wasnt looking at a new keeper so he was happy with what he's got. There is absolutely no point in having back-up if when you're in a situation needing to use the back-up you dont use the back-up. Seriously - what are their wages being paid for then? We might as well have 1 keeper and when he's unavailable go and sign somebody else.
No I just knew what some of them were on. That was the last Premier League season though, I have no idea what they're on now after the clauses kicked in.
