Anyone else notice we seem to be going for current or ex captains (i.e. leaders) as well as youth? Jesus was a captain, Hanley is a captain, Ritchie is apparently a big leader on the pitch. Add to that, Hayden and Gayle with Championship experience (as well as two of the above) and Rafa really is getting his wider recruitment right. The third arm is a long way off and that is a player with the ability to 'step up' to the Prem but I have every faith that Rafa really is getting the blend right with who we've signed thus far. It's been a long, long time since I've looked at our recruitment and thought 'wow- this really is addressing the correct recruitment needs' so long may it continue. I'm absolutely buzzin for the start of the season. Sadly though I'm on a beach for the first two home games.... boooooooo.....
It's nice to see that some things never change. Now that your prophecy of us being relegated has come true (we are yet to find out whether we will sell our best players) what is your prediction for this season?
Sorry but we already sold our best players Ba, Cabaye, Ben arfa, Santon all better than their replacements. He'll even Leon best was better than mitro I can't make a prediction until I see the final squad list and watch a game or two mate
