Morning Eire, it is a bit of a coincidence that you have a meeting tonight with nuns and hr manager happens to be Gary monk. Should we read anything into this?
Morning Doc / All 3 Players were in for young league player of the year last season, Cook, Henry & Roofe with Cook winning. Cook is outstanding and will be in a top four Premier side for sure within a few seasons I think. Whether the other two hit those heights remains to be seen but, as a Cellino critic, I have to say if we land the other two, it is so much more encouraging than picking up Michaels Tonge & Brown or Norris etc. Also to be fair to Cellino, if Taylor really is refusing to sign or even talk about signing a new contract and we can replace him with an up-and-coming talent (and I don't know if Taylor will hit the same heights as Cook either) what else is he supposed to do? Other than that, I am with Chippy, we are awful, will probably go into Administration, get relegated, season will be over by September etc
Why cant he do as sniffer would suggest, bankroll both players salaries himself to say 30k a week each and while hes at it, increase everyone elses at the club to roughly the same. I dont see a problem with this but maybe someone else, a lot cleverer than Eire, might spot a loophole
Morning wolves comma I believe this one will happen leads have been chasing this lad for quite awhile I would put my cards on the table and say I would be surprised if he does not sign this week
I am charging admission fees for those who start re-entering the "reality club" over then next month or so. New members will not be admitted after August!
Only because we have a fiver wager if Mum is still Leeds manager by Christmas, glory has to pay £5 to the Conservatives
Why would he want to do that? His practice of demanding players take pay cuts has worked fine till now
Good morning Doc. That is good news about Murphy. Alright the lad but he has not done much and the last couple of Seasons.
please log in to view this image According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Leeds United maintain their interest in Ternana forward Felipe Avenatti and much will depend on the player’s contract situation. The 23-year-old’s current deal has just 12 months remaining, meaning that there are only three options available to his club: convince him to sign a new contract, sell him either now or in January, or lose him for nothing next summer. Ternana are said to be considering using Avenatti next season in a very impressive forward line, but both Leeds and Genoa are allegedly planning a move if the player opts for pastures new.
