Will Eire make the bench, or will he make do with his sofa? Will we ever see Murphy in a Leeds shirt again? Can we keep a clean sheet? Leeds should announce the signing of Anthony Limborne any time now. Terms have been agreed for a while, but NEC Nijmegen would not let him go until they had found a replacement, but they have found one now!!! Limborne is a pacy winger. He has been tracked for the last couple of seasons. Leeds had a 1.5m bid turned down last August for the former Belgium u19 international.
Morning Elland, morning all... First couple of pre seasons I would imagine a game of two halfs and probably the entire squad getting a chance to impress Monk, maybe a few of the youth team players who have signed new contracts as well. Win or lose 2-0 I don't believe the first couple of games will have any importance, specially with so many new faces..
Morning all and Elland. In answer to your question Elland, Eire wont make the bench. He has a meeting around that time with some nuns. Please dont ask, my work brings me to some strange places. A point of note though, dont read too much into these friendlies. Even though the Irish teams are well into their league campaigns, Shelbourne are League 2 and pretty hopeless. Rovers, Saturdays opponents, are Premier division but very poor this year and have just sacked their manager. Neither will provide any real test that we can read much into.
