    If I wrongly quoted that he had had a medical I apologise, but I genuinely heard that he had. Next time I will post something that will stand up in a court of law rather than a forum. You ok with that Tom

    One last question - could you explain to me how someone could have a medical when clubs haven't agreed a fee? You posted an article stating that Newcastle wouldn't offer above 12. Some of your posts seem a bit contradictory to me.

    Hakim Ziyech appears to be heading to Turkey. :( I really hope we at least tried to get him. He has the potential to be incredible. 32 goals, 29 assists in two seasons in the dutch league for a poor side. Come on Les!!

    I didn't post any article, I referred to an article by the Telegraph. I do however remember on Radio 5 live, hearing that he was due a medical at Newcastle but failed it. I remember it because I quite fancied us signing him but when I heard he failed a medical I was glad we hadn't. I also know that the press particularly NewsNow don't always publish the exact truth.

    However unless we were at meetings or involved with negotiations we don't know jack ****. My comment was made in good faith, if you can't see that's how it was meant that's your issue.

    Hi FLT - its good to have however when you fly Emirates - its in the 'ICE' film library and they watch this at least once on the flight so you get 90 mins of peace at least whilst sipping red wine!
