Off Topic EU deabte. Which way are you voting ?

I'm not aiming at anyone, just suggesting a balance is needed. Like Hull says I would be no more inclined to rely solely on the Guardian and Huffington than I would the Mail and Express. Everything that appears in these papers does so with an underlying agenda that needs to be balanced

 

Politicians are all we have.

 

Too many seem to want to be shock jockey's, and post childish abuse, or dismiss a point because of the author but ignore the content. That just stifles debate and information.

Fella, there are at least two major contributors to this thread who have repeatedly said immigration was a prime motivator in their decision to vote Leave. They've also demonstrated that they've got little to no grasp of what the referendum was actually about but have revelled in their "victory" which isn't going to give them what they wanted so what was the point in them voting other than to give a couple of small minded bigots an opportunity to vent their hate?

I've also noticed that quite a few on this thread don't seem to know what a meme is.

 

I always consider the content and not the author or publisher. I find it strange when people dismiss something because of who says it. But then that is how some people make decisions. It's wrong but that wont stop them.

 

I think your answer is an admission of your lack of understanding of the issues being discussed.

I've also noticed that whenever you've been pressed to elaborate on your opinions you have chosen to deflect or become evasive.

 

There do seem to be a couple on here that panic when a discussion takes them away from their comfort zone and then they just try to disrupt things with inane drivel. I've noticed some accuse the far left of similar practices in party politics.

 

I must admit Pete that when I read your posts I know that they represent the views of a bitter old **** wearing cheap tracksuit bottoms and a stained old cardigan.
