    We have a behind closed doors match tonight against Leicester, partly to look at the fitness of Kisnorbo and O'Brien, but will also be making a decision on Mendy. My guess is that we will sign him up on a short term contract to see how well he plays out of position, playing up front (we don't need any more wingers). You never know, there may be a few new faces playing for us tonight.

    I really hope Lichaj signs perminantly with us, but things have gone a bit quiet there.

    Blimey I didn't know about this - Is a friendly this close to the new season a good idea? I can't see either side playing anyone who is a nailed on starter for Saturday, so that would rule KS out (still can't spell his surname) <laugh>

    DF, its Schmeichal (I think), its not really a pre season friendly, its a behind closed door game so its a last chance to assess injuries, fringe players or trialists

    Seems like he needs to sort his attitude out aswell. Has always seemed like he thinks it's his right to be in the first team. And we all know about the loan fiasco(s).

    Given Grella and Payne scored I would think our team was similar. I'm guessing the likes of Cairns, Thompson and the Turner twins were playing. Hopefully AOB is now match ready.
