I think I'd struggle to squeeze in to one of those... Certainly wouldn't need the "pushed up" version if I did.
You've gotta be an optomist to support the Saints, after some many years of mediocrity? But to finish in the top 10 this comming season will be very difficult, even Palace are buying big at the moment so its going to be tough? Keep the faith.
The bookies clearly don't fancy us... we are 246/1 at Betfair to win the League atm, with Leicester at 28/1, West Ham at 80/1 and Everton at 104/1.... I'm glad I waited for the price to get bigger before I lay my bet.
We're going to finish 5th - it's obvious we'll finish 5th - if you can't see that you probably voted to leave the EU!
Saints will finish below last seasons position IMO for 2 reasons 1 new manager will struggle with PL 2 the squad is getting thinner due to the exodus of players of last few seasons.
1. That's yet to be proved (we have an excellent record of managerial appointments, that is a fact) 2. We have always replaced any departed players with new ones and improved each season. (also a fact)
Not an either/or situation. The Academy is there to produce first team players at a reasonable cost compared with buying the same players in. The Academy is financed by money saved on purchases and by sales. The main intention is to produce a successful top flight team consisting of players from the Academy and players bought in who are partially financed by profits from the Academy. It's a good business model.
