You're a bitter hypocrite Shtanley, you can't bring yourself to say anything good about LFC or Liverpool past or present but yet here you are on our board spouting ****e about bitterness, instead of just agreeing or not that he stole the limelight(happily so)from his fellow Portugal squad members you start getting personal and pretending only your opinion matters. I said he's a good player but I don't like the feller, hardly a basis for your bs about "bitterness"
If you say so Paige. As always our discussions end up with you going off point and sermonising. Anyway, nice of you lads to devote a thread to Ronaldo, a player you're not interested in!
I have no idea who the options for next england manager are, but if I gambled I would put money on them all being average. Alladyce, harry, brendan. What other ****e to add to that? Moyes and pullis maybe lol.
So, you reckon its ok for you to have an opinion about everything LFC(or others)but we can't have an opinion on CR7, **** off you self appointed censor.
I totally understand and accept that Shtanley, but you might have noticed that you just didn't say that, you as per got all personal and came up with your "bitterness" conspiracy. And thanks for giving me permission to have an opinion.
On the drive home, I was listening Talkshite with Durham (I know I know the guy's a prick) and Darren Gough ( ) actually trying to argue how Sam Allardyce will make England a success. It must have been a wind up to get the telephone ringing OR the fact all England managers in their eyes are da best in da wurrrrld.

How dare he celebrate, he was injured in the final (wags finger)?! Congratulations Cristiano. I'll post my congratulations to Nani in his tribute thread
Deffo looking for calls and texts. Make no bones about it these shows survive on controversy and wind ups. They make nothing off a twitter reply but every text and call is gold. They will read 20 texts for every one tweet.. They only do tweets to wind up people when off air.
A team which only win one game in 90 minutes i do not see as a deserved winner, yes they won the final and they should get the plaudits but a team which finished third, won only one game which was the semi's and played in a negative manner i think it is undeserved to the teams around them. They are winners because they did what they had to do but they're not deserved winners.
No. I started the thread because the man's a **** and it was hilarious watching him miss a penalty. Just as funny as it was watching his team win the final, effectively without him contributing anything. Still ****ing lauded over, though
I'm glad you enjoyed the final Cuth. I thought it was a **** game but I wanted Portugal to win as it's a lovely country that I've spent a lot of time in. Ronaldo certainly seemed to be very happy at the end.
The final was ****, however: 1. The frogs got beaten and 2. Ronaldo contributed jack ****. That was about as good a result as it could have been. Shocking spectacle, though. I've heard Portugal is a very pleasant place, but I've never been.
"No one believed in us," Ronaldo said afterwards. "I had already won everything with clubs. I lacked something with the national team. Portugal have deserved this after many years of sacrifice. "It was not the final I wanted, but I am very happy. It is a trophy for all the Portuguese, for all immigrants, all the people who believed in us, so I am very happy and very proud."
Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid star's sister compares Euro 2016 final injury to Christ's crucifixion “These tears I cried for my wounded brother were like daggers to the heart, and we all cried with him for the awful pain we had together. “But God is great and just as our saviour Jesus Christ suffered on the cross for a better world for us, Cristiano cried in the pain of not being able to help his teammates and his beloved people. “God is just and they deservedly lifted the trophy, and fulfilled the dream; we are champions.” Speaking himself in the wake of the game, Ronaldo said: "I asked God to give me another chance. “Portuguese people deserve this, our players deserve this. I’ve always said I wanted to win a trophy with the national team and I did it.” http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...s-injury-to-christs-crucifixion-a7134186.html
Isn't football all opinions? I feel other teams deserved to win the Euros based on performances and trying to play some form of attacking football. If you believe football should be about scoring one goal after pretty much playing within themselves then thats fine. I think football should be played with risks and if you lose then at least you played football.
You know it would be a dif argument for Suarez in same situation Just laugh it off and move on is all we can do. They love the ego we love Suarez.
