Disagree. He hasn't developed that much the last couple of seasons, I don't think he'll make the proper elite. He'll still be looking for better than us though.
Napoli demanding £80m for Higuain, things have got massively out of hand in football. FFS he's 28 which means any buying club is going to get 3-4 years out of him at his best. Its just not value for money.
Selling clubs hold the power now generally. Who is interested in him for this silly value to be given? English clubs automatically prob have £20 mill added to any player we want lol.
I think he would be a good buy for them personally, but I think they are weaker in other areas that for some reason they don't concentrate on first ie defence. Maybe could be end of giroud? Ie sell to clear a bit prob demand £30 mill from some mug. Arsenal seem to think score more than the opo wins you games, one day that might pay off ie luck with injuries, but must frustrate being a fan they don't buy world class defenders. They have a decent keeper at last, not sure how old he is though and how long left? Silly move by Chelsea letting him go.
Is this true though? Would you rather spend £80m and get 4 good/great years out of a player or, spend £15m-£35m on players every year for the next 4 years and get the same or worse results?
He's 34, so 4 years at a push buying any player over £50m is mad, unless they are on of the best in the world, ie Messi, Neymar etc or young enough to justify it with the idea that one day they will be the best. Huguian is not in either of those categories, never worth over £50m.
