I reckon he's gone, sadly. I wish people like David Porno Gold would keep his beardy ****ing beak out of it, mind. The twat.
Well I am ****ting myself and hope Sam is Sunderlands manager for years to come. IMO he's the best manager we have had since Bob Stokoe, and certainly appears to be a perfect fit for our club. He talks so much sense, it's unreal, and the players seem to love him and his team. I am praying the FA look elsewhere but unfortunately for us I think Big Sam would do a fantastic job with England and they will be fools not to appoint him. I just hope if he is offered it, he tells them to F.O. After all they did appoint The Wally with the Brolly ahead of him!! Bart
10 years ago Sam Allardyce wasn't fit to manage the England team, although Steve McClaren evidently wasn't either, but still, he's done a lot in the last 10 years to put him in the driving seat in my opinion. He did very well at Blackburn before being undermined and also built a great team at West Ham, so for me he's certainly head and shoulders above **** like Pardew and Hoddle.
That's not the question though, it's "Do the FA think the national team is more important than Sunderland AFC?" and that is, in my opinion, a resounding yes. Let's not get ideas above our station, if we get relegated the only people who would give a **** would be Sunderland fans. The Prem would rumble on, no one would bat an eyelid.
I know someone who's quite closely linked to the club and he reckons the crack is that he's interviewing for the England job tomorrow. Apparently he wants it and is pissed off at broken promises re Transfer policy etc. Guy often has transfer crack and is often wrong so don't shoot the messenger!!
It's fairly obvious he will be going for talks mate, it doesn't take Stephen Hawking to figure that one out. He looks pissed off with the transfer situation, if Ellis Short is making life difficult for him, after sacking his mate that helped him get all your January signings in, I wouldn't like to be in Short's shoes if he walks, England job or otherwise.
Apart from the Offical Club statement which explained it? Oh, are we not even believing club statements now? We're skeptical of everything now are we? How wonderful.
I wonder if that deal was done a few weeks ago, then the price went up when the £ fell and Inter were demanding it in Euros rather than Sterling.
There's an official club statement? Haven't seen it sarcy But yes, I'm skeptical of everything. Mulder said trust no one. So I don't! I don't even know for sure you're you! You could be someone else
Lets face it. Inter has form for moving the goal posts. Not talking Alvarez, I'm takling the rep they've built up over a number of years. No reason not to beleive the club on this on. Sounds like a reason Inter would try and take advantage of so very possible mate.
Yeah mate. It was the club who announced the transfer had broken down. Reason being Inter changed the fee. So if you're skeptical of everything, you must just be in your own personal hell until you see a picture of somebody in the shirt?
I'm in my own personal hell everytime I look in the mirror and see a 56 year old bloke staring out at me, a mere 19 year old No wonder I'm sceptical about everything!!
That's it, I've taken a look at the options and there's only one contender, Allardyce. I'm not even wasting any more time thinking about it. Allardyce has gone public with his 'frustration' at Sunderland so bollix to it ........ I have a summer to be getting on with.
I think due to the current situation with Alvarez trying to buy an Inter Milan player was just asking for trouble.......maybe that is just my thought though....let's move on. Hope we can get someone other than Simpson.....bit too much history with this one.
