Apparently its £3.70 a pint this season at the CCS. I'll be doing my drinking pre and post match in Canton. So how is your average jack going to afford that. I can see the shares in Matalan taking a hit as they wont have much left from their giros.
I know they will be watching Prem football, but our dearest seat is cheaper that their cheapest seat.
Its a disgrace. Exploiting the fans. No need for it either. PL clubs make enough from TV revenue without ripping off the fans.
I'm with Hilts on this...whether it's the Swans or anyone else, it's the fans who always get stung in the end. (I read somewhere QPR are charging £50 for away fans)
This is disgusting, the two or three thousand loyal Swansea fans that have followed them through their many, many, barren years will probably be priced out of their brief flirtation with the premiership.........sad or what? Seriously it shows clubs mentalities (not just Swansea's) they realise that their clubs stay in the top flight is likely to be short lived and want to milk the fans for all they can.............Swansea fans should stay away in protest,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but would the club notice, after all there is not that many there to begin with.
£35 is the cheapest swansea ticket? its not as if huw is splashing out the cash either so what a kick in the teeth for the jacks that is! i've never for the life of me understood why tickets have to be so expensive. an extra £10 from each fan doesnt make the slightest bit of difference to the football club with all the sky money sloshing around nowadays but it makes a massive difference to normal people on a budget imagine what it would do for the atmosphere etc if they dropped prices a bit and had a full house every week instead of ripping off the people who supported the club in division 4.
I feel sorry for the Jacks fans, all 1800 of them that followed them when they were on the verge of re-election, you can practically guarantee that these hardy souls (proper fans) won't get a look in . Next time youi sit your fat corporate arse on a seat, to watch Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal remeber you have priced the genuine Jack fans out of contention After all a Giro can only stretch so far
It's shocking but inevitable when you need to generate the money to cover the wages and keep the club afloat. Not sure who decided on the increase but what's the betting the thought pattern was along the lines of "QPR are stiffing their fans, why don't we have a go?" Seriously, shocking and I feel for an die hard fan that has been through the lean times now having to stump up that sort of money for a home game.
When swansea Almost fell out of league football possibly 8/9 years ago. Don't worry you're a plastic whos only recently jumped on the bandwagon..... Either that or you suffer from memory loss...
