    Christian Benteke's agent Kismet Eris has told Sky Sports News HQ there is "nothing in" reports the Belgium striker is on the brink of leaving Liverpool.

    Eris, who was Benteke's intermediary in the £32.5m deal that took him to Anfield last summer, insists his client wants to stay at the Reds and fight for his place this season.

    Wouldn't even call it a good game, hes an international footballer and made a few good runs in the first half.

    They really must be smoking something good up there to demand 35 million.

    The worrying thing though is that I can see them getting something around that figure for him. There are enough people out there who get sucked in by his occasional good performance. Some of them on this very board.

    With the way that some clubs throw money around these days, it'll only take one manager or one chief executive or one director of football to decide that he's their big name summer signing...

    I would like Sissoko at Saints probably more than most, but there's no way he's worth similar to Sadio Mane. He's in the £15M+ category, in my opinion.
    The real mystery to me is Pogba. Where was this mythical fabulous player.? Did he send an imitation along to Euro 2016 in his place.?

    Forced into playing a deep lying playmaker/holding role. He's much better ruling the midfield and getting forward, rather than sitting back and playing 5 yard passes backwards
