He wasn't proven to be anything of the sort in 2005 though. Many suspected he'd been lying through his teeth over WMD's like, but not even the Tories were labelling him as a war criminal.

If Parliament is sovereign maybe the Labour Party members can have a referendum to elect the leader? If Corbyn is re-elected the Members of Parliament can ignore the result of the referendum - because it is only advisory - and vote for the Labour Party leader. The non-Labour Party MPs wont vote because they will be rolling around on the floor laughing.

There's a case for morally voting against it. If your constituents happened to be majority remain and you were leaning that way also. You represent your constituents. What would you do in that situation Tobes?

How did you get elected leader of the Sensible Party? Especially when your wife probably voted for the bloke next door.

    This would've been a good start http://www.eureferendum.com/documents/flexcit.pdf
But there are other examples where academics have considered the problems and come up with coherent plans. I also believe the markets would be less volatile and EU more willing to negotiate if the positions were clear from the outset. Of cause they will always be objectives and no one can guarantee the future

How do you start a political party and not be able to think of a single policy for 16 months? Anyone here who knows the answer to that? I'd be interested to know. What kind of mastermind comes up with such a profound plan?

Phase 3 - So they want a Europe wide single market (what does that mean exactly?) and how will they achieve it if any country disagrees with "the plan"?

When it comes to coherent plans, is it wise to ask someone who hasn't come up with a coherent plan for a political party he created 16 months ago?

Well they wouldn't ask you, that's for sure. You can't come up with a policy for your own political party you idiot.

They dont seem to understand the wish of the British people to decide our own laws. They don't seem to understand that the EU or other countries may not agree to "the plan".

I reckon we give independence to London, but let it rule Scotland, Northern Ireland and Liverpool as satellite states and we have a new capital in Birmingham <ok>

They'll have a few problems though. They can't even manage to get people too and from work in that there London.

One of the policies of The Sensible Party is as follows:

Split the UK into the following -

    Parts of England:-

    North East
    North West
    Yorkshire and the Humber
    East Midlands
    West Midlands
    East of England
    South East
    South West
    London
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regions_of_England

    Other countries:-
    Scotland
    Northern Ireland
    Wales

The UK Parliament will decide on matters that need to be decided at a state level and matters that can be decided on a regional level with be decided by a regional parliament.

I think that this idea is much better than the muddle that we have at present as to how Scotland is funded as well as many other issues.

When time allows other policies will be released and they will all be on the website.

    Be Sensible - Vote Sensible

Enough of all this divisiveness, the north and south should unite, and kick the **** out of the brummies.
