Nice early finish to the campaign, despite it not going perfectly for me, but it gives her plenty of time to stick article 50 in, given she's in the chair 3 months earlier than anticipated.

Her first job should be to appoint Michael Gove to his new position of ISIS peace attempter on the ground in Syria.

    No doubt.

She set out three key planks to her strategy for No 10:
"First, we need a bold, new, positive vision for the future of our country - a vision of a country that works for everyone - not just the privileged few.
"Second, we need to unite our party and our country.
"And third, our country needs strong, proven leadership - to steer us through this time of economic and political uncertainty and to negotiate the best deal for Britain as we leave the European Union and forge a new role for ourselves in the world."

Apart from that last one it's the same old same old.

Are you telling us that she is a conservative. <laugh> what a mess this is, there is not one worthy candidate for the job in hand. Mission impossible.

Best of a pretty unappealing bunch. At least we've been spared the Gove oddity...

I can't stand any of the ****ers, but May is definitely a large step to the right of Cameron and heading into Thatcher territory.

Well she has a massive job on her hands, and I really hope she does well because there is so many huge fights ahead which will affect us all. ****ing Cameron no plan boils my piss, he only had to make one friggin plan as it was business as usual if remain had won and he didn't even try tosser!! Hopefully this brings the Tories together and let the Labour Party squabble In a quiet corner somewhere until they can somehow create a decent opposition!!!

Leadsom was much more in the mould of Thatcher than May has ever been.

May wants workers and consumer groups on company boards. That's left of Corbyn!

I think she's more old school Tory with a small c.
