Take someone on a six month loan with option to extend depending on McGregor.

Well, Telegraph Sport 'understands' he's short-listed, Alan Shearer's gobbing off about it, neither Bruce or Hull have been approached 'apparently'. Let's wait a bit eh?

I think Brucey would take the job if he was offered it, could be an interesting week ahead. But let's not jump the gun, he might turn down the interview or he might not get the job.

I always thought any England manager was doomed to fail since Sky and the Premier League took off. I fear players think more about earning £100k+ a week than they do about playing for England.

Having said that, the state of City at the moment nobody could be surprised if SB decided to jump ship.

Is that all? Well that means a grand total of nothing. He said it like it was FACT.

Serie A they do this with young keepers, there was the Milan fella last year who was just 16 I think and Buffon of course, can't honestly ever see Brucey having the balls to do likewise though

Donnarumma wasn't it? He didn't do too badly.

Mannion hasn't even made a first team appearance for Wimbledon, I'm not sure we'll be chucking him straight in without any first team experience at all.

And they had 2 very experienced keepers on their books. It was a massively brave decision but - along with Bonnaventura - was probably their only plus point last season.

As would I and I can see it going to Howe, which if nothing else might **** Bournemouth up a little.

Got to be Howe. I'd love him to be given the job. Young, dynamic and his teams always play exciting and attacking football.

Out of that list Howe is definitely the one who should get it.

Jak not good enough for The Premier League.

Kuciak, I've no idea if he's good enough.

Mannion? No way will be be ready to be our main keeper.

We need another Harper-like signing. Experienced, but short term.

I saw a few of their games before I cancelled BT Sport, they were truly shocking last year from what I saw, was very disappointed with the quality of Serie A to be honest which was one of the reasons I cancelled my sub

And he wouldn't change from a Champions League team to City. He's gonna be a father next month so he probably won't go anywhere but reports say PSG are interested.
