Couldn't agree more we need at least three forwards and how much does a decent forward with wages cost these days
I notice Wales had a massive celebration when they got back from the Euros. No lame excuses about players being busy, even though they will obviously have had much less time to spare than our players did at the end of May.
That isn't necessarily the case. Quite a few of ours had left more or less straightaway to join their national sides. The Wales players now have some spare time before pre-season training. Though, to be fair, itv wasn't our players claiming that and the ones left behind could have accepted an invitation to the Guildhall. More of a case of the club using it as an excuse not to have anything to do with celebrations associated with the council.
We aren't the first team to have success with international players in the squad. It was pathetic but typically City of them to pretend that was the reason when obviously it was just another act of Allam spite, but as usual without the balls to be up front about it.
It makes you wonder how the talks went with the Allam's regards the assurances that SB wanted ,after all he did say he want certain assurances, one of those assurances was he wanted a competitive budget, £ 16/18 million seem to fall somewhat short of that.
That's what I carnt understand pudsey, Bruce said he wanted assurance that they could be competitive before commiting himself. His statement didn't really fill us with confidence about him staying but now he's saying basically that budget isn't going to be competitive. So why did he bother half commiting himself when he must have known the budget
Bruce gets on fine with Assem and Fatima but as like most of us he has little or time for Ehab at all.
One year today ... coincidence?http://www.thefa.com/news/2015/jul/the-fa -council-reject-hull-city-application
This was the HDM link, like you said one year ago today. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull-city-change-fa-says-hull-tigers/story-26882393-detail/story.html
He does sound a little bit subdued in that clip does old Brucie. Clear he just wants to focus on an exciting new year in the PL, get his squad together, plot it out - but there's something nagging at him. The takeover needs to happen, or not happen, ASAP to give us a fighting chance in what will be a tough season. Nice mention of Nick Barmby in there too, setting up a summer camp that Brucie approves of. Nice little touch.
Just resign Steve, this season is a disaster before it's even started, the poisonous atmosphere the devil incarnate and his revolting son have created will continue to overshadow yet another season. We'll be the laughing stock of the league playing infront of 7000 empty seats in our tiny stadium. It's not worth the hassle, we don't have a prayer of flourishing in this league with those 2 cretins at the helm.
Stan Ternent The proverbial 'football man' but does he have baggage? And has he underperformed in scouting new larkers?
Reason 1. Unlikely to just walk away when there might be a pay-off? Reason 2. Other jobs (Villa, Newcastle) went elsewhere Reason 3. He maybe thinks there will be new owners very soon.
