    Yeah I have no problem with Pelle going. Thanx Pelle enjoy the crazy wages.

    According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Pelle has been offered a contract that will see him earning a total of €40m over two-and-a-half years, and he has understandably accepted.

    About £240k a week.

    Tbf, there's loyalty and then there's foolishness. Hopefully, for his own sake, Graziano has chosen neither. He goes with my thanks on some great football, some fantastic goals, and a hair style and look which occasionally made Saints the main back page story. Good luck to him.

    Would have liked to have kept pelle here,but on the other hand i can see the reasons for it being a good deal for saints and pelle. How long will it be before the sun or the daily fail start shouting about a "meltdown"

    £13 million for a 31 year old with less then a year left on his contract is pretty good.

    Surprised to see us linked with Carvalho. He was talked about being sold for £30m a season or two ago.

    Also interesting to see that a few sources are saying it is between us and Everton. Would make it even sweeter if we got him ahead of Ronald!

    The idiots that post on those live feeds for BBC are just desk monkeys who obviously know little.

    Anyone with half a brain cell knows you cannot demand a big fee for a aging player with 1 year left on his contract.

    To be fair, i think you could maybe have demanded more from the chinese. The transfer prices have been bordering ridiculous and when you have quotes for 30m on benteke who has flopped, 30m on Deeney, 10m on James Tomkins, 15m on Ibe i would have maybe expected more for Pelle who had a very decent Euros and was a key player for you guys and hit double figures every season (even if he disappeared for some of it ala giroud).
