To rise, spring, or gush, as water, from the earth or some other source (often followed by up, out, or forth):

Tears welled up in my eyes because the boys were being mean to me.

Every May, here in Cincinnati, we have a huge event called The Flying Pig Marathon. One of the city's nicknames is Porkopolis.

Google 'flying pig marathon'. There's plenty of info on the links on there.

As has been said numerous times, there were two prices agreed - one assuming promotion, one assuming we didn't go up.

If you were applying for a permit to put a second story on your house, and were trying to sell in the mean time, and agreed a price if the permit was approved, and a price if the permit was rejected, you don't then turn around when the permit is approved and say "Actually stuff the deal we had, I want even more." Well, you could, but you'd look a greedy twat.

We've managed to decide to sign Elmo and Huddlestone to new deals, so what's to stop us picking up other free agents and signing them to deals?

That all being said, Burnley are yet to make a signing either, so not as if all our rivals are streaming ahead.

What if you'd done £10,000 worth of alterations not requiring a permit would you ask for this to be included or just sell at the agreed price?

Do you know whether the offers were accepted? Given the way the Allams operate I would doubt it very much. It would be; "sounds good we'll firm it up after Wembley".

Done, is it the sentence or what it means that gave you the headache?

"Given the way the Allams operate" is precisely why the criticism is being levelled at them. All reports were that the deal was done, as well as from OLM's ITK sources, and the Allams have gone back on the agreed price. That's ****ish.

If the deal had been agreed the purchasers could sue the Allams for not selling or insist the contract be carried out. Given everything you know about the Allams do you really think they are stupid enough to have painted themselves into a corner before we played at Wembley? I don't.

With the signing of the sponsorship deal the value of the club has gone up. Don't you think that should be reflected in the purchase price? I do. Obtaining new contracts for Elmo and Tom increased the value of the club. Again that should be reflected in the sale price.

How many people would sell their house to someone paying a 10% and the rest on the never-never? Especially if the deeds weren't secured. Not many, so why would the Allams be any different?

The sale comes down to whether the Allams get the price they want and a payment schedule that suits them. If they get that we will get new owners, if we don't they'll stay. Insisting on getting the deal they'll accept is the least of their crimes against the people of Hull, our supporters and the football family in general in my eyes.

You can have a verbal agreement that isn't binding, which I suspect would have been the case here. I can't imagine that there would be so many different sources suggesting that there were two sales prices agreed if there wasn't, but there have been stranger things to happen in the world.

If you had done £ 10000 after agreeing to sell you would quite frankly need your head examining

You are quite right, Obi. Unfortunately,it looks increasingly likely that there will be no new owners. Hope I'm wrong though.

I'm afraid you'll be right here. Today's supposed deadline will likely bring yet more "no news".

Might just be a case of 'yep, all bids are in by the deadline, they are now being considered, bye'.

Might be. I might come home tonight to find two supermodels waiting and wanting a threesome. With the emphasis on "might".
