Told ya t'other day mate. That Mario was superb. The little LB too. Carvalho. Some really really good players. They were better when they got Sanches off.
Sometimes players don't suit clubs, Sissoko for France for one. Eder looked a real handful, not always about goals scored. He won loads of free kicks for Portugal and scored a piledriver.
Is there such a thing as BlackWhite colour blindness? Clattenburg needs to get checked out if he cannot differetiate between Eder & Kocielny's arms.
They've been great in the final, but Christ, across the rest of the tournament they were ****ing awful. Luckiest winners ever?
Odd in a sense, the lack of antipathy on this thread towards France They’re our rivals aren’t they? Anyway, there’s not a nation or nationality on this planet that I hate but in a not giving a **** way, I wanted Portugal to win for these reasons, in this order: Portugal were the underdog Funny to see France **** up A player like Ronaldo deserves to have a major international trophy win With regards to the lack of antipathy towards France, what does that prove? Maybe, that ‘we’ value football more than history? And maybe we’ve more in common with our Euro friends than Brexiter City FC?
I think more on here wanted Portugal than France. I wanted France, but I am part French, so I have a good excuse.
Glad to see you take such a close interest in my posts. I can't recall anything you have ever written.
Ronaldo - Portuguese Football Player and when injured, Portuguese Manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the hell was he allowed to walk up and down in front of Deschamp like that?
It's like white noise. You don't pay close attention to it but you can't help but notice how ****ing annoying it is. Post something funny or positive and see how you feel. It's got to be better than the continuous moaning and whining. Surely?
Can't say I was bothered either way, just wanted a decent final. Which to be honest, wasn't that great. Overall in the tournament France were a better team, Portugal didn't win a game in 90 minutes. However Portugal had as many shots on target as in the whole tournament as France so they couldn't be as accused of just defending and hoping for breakaways. What is more distressing is that a country of 10 million, whose best players players play abroad, can do so well in tournaments over the past 20 years or so compared to us.
Robson-Kanu, goal of the tournament over Shaqiri? Bollocks. Stop the Wales love in FFS. Good goal, but no chance the best.
The Beeb know how to do a closing montage, don't they? Bowie singing Heroes in French anarl. Cracking stuff.
Couldn't be arsed to watch it, but pleased at that. I've been tracing back my family tree hoping to find a bit of Portugese blood in it. Plenty of French but I couldn't ever bring myself to wish any feeling of good will towards that **** stain of a nation. France can **** off. Shaqiri is absolutely goal of the tournament. In fact, there's probably a dozen goals better than Robson Kanu's. It wasn't even that good.
There's been clashes and violence throughout the final and into the night. Mainly at the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees. The Police have said the situation is not safe and people should stay away. No idea what the hell is going on. please log in to view this image
