We've had 1 UK cop killed each year (on average) over the last 10 years. Admittedly we have a far smaller population and far far fewer firearms, 45 officers murdered is a scary number and despite their training its no wonder the cops are twitchy/triggerhappy. I don't know the stats for black men being shot by police in the US, likewise I don't how many of the officers who did the shooting were black, I therefore find it very hard to judge if the US cops actually are the cold blooded/incompetent killers they are being potrayed as. Being Yanks, they probably are, but as with many events in life I can do nothing about, I just ignore it. Until they change their gun laws it is only going to get worse.
The people killing cops are mainly gun toting gangsters and they buy black market guns . You will never take the guns away from the American people no matter how many cops you give tanks and military hardware to making them think they are robocop. The American gov has bought up literally millions of hollow point dum dum rounds even though the police and military are forbidden to use them. George Soros is behind #BLM and wants civil unrest. They get a coon president and they have more gun crime and racial tension during his stint than both Bushes Reagan and Clinton combined.
They can change it, the Constitution says they have a right to bear arms, at the time of writing it meant basically a Flintlock musket, single shot, unrifled barrel, accurate to about 50 yards. It could be perfectly legal to own a single shot oldey-timey musket but nothing automatic, no grenades either. Problem solved.
Actually...saying they were murdered assumes they fired back or didn't fire at all. After current events I'd guess they fired first and missed.
Well we have seen in the last few days, police killing unarmed men. There is a strong likely hood that other attempts by oolice to murder unarmed men resulted in those men actually being armed and also being better shots
Perhaps if they all used rubber bullets then no one would get killed. And if they missed and it hit the wall, it would bounce back and they could catch it and have another go.
