Yea I think so Bakes, just the way that final sentence is worded. Club definitely leaning Towards something here. Shame that Buzacky has lost his usual number
That list spells the end for Cook and Rowlands. Hopefully Cooky, Rowlands and Vine can be shifted out during this window. Reducing the wage bill.

I can't see Buzz being happy with losing the no 10 shirt, that shirt has great significance at Loftus road that Jay will have added pressure stuck on him
Maybe Pete but he is playing in Prem, I think I could forego the 10 shirt as long as I got to play? Times change, players change, nothing lasts forever. BTW Is it just me or does that squad list look pretty damn good?

kin ell...Dave has a shirt but not Rowly or Cooky.... and does the 19 represent how many strikes it takes him before he hits the target?
No Rowlands or Cook says it all. Interesting to see Hewitt in there, even though he's at number 30. Stick DJ Campbell at 9 and that really doesn't look a bad starting team.
Is Dave still on the transfer list - as far as I am aware he is, but no one wants him .... Warnock does seem to pick him a lot for someone that he wants to get rid of?
QPR duo left out in the cold By Jacob Murtagh Aug 2 2011 Share Add a comment Recommend MARTIN Rowlands and Lee Cook's days at QPR look numbered after being left out of the squad for the coming campaign. The pair have failed to appear in a first-team friendly during pre-season and were left out of the tours to Cornwall and Italy. Boss Neil Warnock has not issued either player with a squad number, with their time at Loftus Road seemingly up. Gary Borrowdale, Leon Clarke and Antonio German are also surplus to requirements in W12 after failing to make the cut. Borrowdale wasn't liked by NW at Palarse and Clarke was a gamble that didn't pay off. Surprised at German not getting a shirt however, isn't there a premier league rule which states that youngsters can be brought in IF necessary?
Feel sad for Rowlands and Cook. True QPR players. Have not had the chance to prove themselves after injury. Fickle game football.
My sentiments entirely, seahoop. Sad to see them go, and wish them all the best in the next stage of their careers. I'll be watching their progress carefully to see if NW made the right "arm's length" decision or whether he had something of an unreasonable down on them.
The numbers tell the story. Goodbye to Cook & Rowlands, sadly no place for sentiment at this level. German is also out, if he was gonna figure he'd have had to be in the team last season and scoring. Interesting to see Hewitt in the squad, I wonder if he may get a run-out at Crawley or Luton?
