I like both badges. Hence they're getting tattooed on me soon!! Along with the "SAFC" in the font and design that was on the '73 shirt
Mmmmm but lots of design for last seasons away top which was not to my liking - simple is sometimes good all white -
I think corporate pressure got the badge change so we may not be able to have that toppa old badge. I'm sure someone on here will know
I hope the divorce was amicable. On badges, I like them both a lot. The one with the ship speaks to our past and feels spot on for the club and the new one looks pure class. I think it's the best looking club badge in England.
I've got no problem with a simple top in theory and I don't mind the white with the blue stripe. There's a fine line between a minimal, clean style and something that just looks very basic and dull though.
never been a big fan of the thunderbirds design, but that looks smart enough, subtle. seen a lot worse.
I don't like whats inside the shield of the new one. ive always thought that it looks like somebody had knocked it up during a GCSE art lesson.
I really like that design - prefer the red one tho. Would buy either - not bought an away top for years. Bart
The new badge is ****ing spunk. Looks like it's been cobbled together on a laptop by a bunch of bad lads from an approved school. **** in other words.
She is still my missus but she did get a bit of a telling off - it was probably worth a few quid on ebay.
I agree with this but maybe that's just coz I'm (relatively) young. The old one just looks so dated and... plain to me, I guess? Having said that, Man City had a similar badge to our old one and then "modernized" as we did, and have now reverted back to a, slightly updated, version of their original one under fan pressure. Maybe we will see something similar happen for us?
Any man who wears pink deserves a good hoofing in the stotts by a shire horse with a pair of pit byuts on it's back feet.
Only worth the the best part of 500 quid. So rare you can pretty much charge what you want within reason.
Are you sure ??? http://talksport.com/football/every-premier-league-club-crest-ranked-worst-first-160705201885#
From a design point of view Spurs is worst by a mile. Try putting next to any other badge and you see why instantly. Got to be ****ing different. But as a result every match graphic produced with their crest on looks ****.
Even more sure after that refresher course of how crap most clubs' badges are. Most could have been designed by a ten year old.
To be fair... A couple of the badges are terrible I don't know how anyone can put them in any assemblence of order like
Its just personal taste. I support the club not the badge, if the badge changes I still support the club. I would like to see the ship on the badge though, as many of us would.
