    And when there is 'trouble', some young City fan gets banned from every ground in the country for some verbals on Walton st car park v the vermin. But Hull's yob element who have an appalling rep in the world of RL and who were in trouble as recently as 2 weeks ago at Warrington, never seem to have anyone arrested/banned.
    Money talks when it comes to policing sport in this city.

    I don't and never will condone fighting or any form of over aggressiveness at a sporting event but have you ever been to a Warrington v anyone game? It was one away game I would avoid especially after I had kids. I would say the equivalent of Millwall in the football world.

    I agree there are RL so called fans that cause trouble like in football. No excuse in either sport.

    I gather this is what you are talking about including arrests made.

    It's an inconvenient truth and has been for decades that RL has crowd trouble. In recent years cash-rich football has been milked by police forces who magnify trouble to justify their continued presence. The HDM are happy to play along with the police version of 'events', which mean that City get tarred and the RL clubs get nearly always get away with it.

    Was there a single story about trouble at a City game last season?

    That rather undermines the police's insistence every game at the KC needs large numbers of police officers lounging about to prevent civil disorder and the end of civilisation as we know it.

    Yet there were still banning orders handed out. Never seen one down the years at rugby despite demolishing the posts at Huddersfield, numerous reports of bus windows being smashed, someone pictured in the national papers booting a fan laid on the ground at Craven Park (laughably he got an on the spot fine), flares set off, 5 arrests and 7 ejections and a bottle launched at another player at a derby at the KC...

    Both, try asking a Castleford or Wakefield fan what they make of it.

    It's usually quite complimentary about Hull City though which is why you probably don't see the other imbalances.

    It's a strange one because there's certainly more aggression shown

    They used to have Burnley match reports, as people in places such as Tordmorden were Yorkshire Clarets.

    You'll excuse me if decline a chat with a Cas or Wakey fan- not my thing. Perhaps the Sports Editor has to make a call based on profile of the clubs concerned?

    Hull 15- 20 Leeds Bulldogs
    Att. 10, 618 (includes loads of freebies)
    Atmosphere = 10/10
    Entertainment = 10/10
    As always.

    AP must be gutted. He has finally, after much effort and expense, put together a team who are having a good season, but take away the Leeds fans and less than 10,000 people from Hull turn up. Leeds, having an awful season, had over 16,000 at their last home game.
    Apathy seems to be a general thing in Hull at the moment. Though if they get to Wembley there will be thousands of life long fans who have never missed a game going, as with every team when they get to a final.

    I can understand someone thinking a game is 10/10, even if others don't but how do you think the atmosphere is 10/10 in a stadium only 40% full.

    Tbh, I've no idea what the 'entertainment' and 'atmosphere' ratings were: I made it up.
    It was probably only 9/10 for both.
    You have to bear in mind that the game was on telly, X Factor was on, a lot of people were on holiday, some people were preparing for the 'Sea of Hull' art installation photo session, people don't like watching Leeds, rain was forecast, road works in town prevented a lot of people getting there etc.

    Last time I trust your posts.<laugh> Saw a bit of the game. Was quite entertaining., No one in North Stand, a whole empty section between the Leeds and FC fans (thought there was no need for segregation in RL?). A depressing vision of what the KCOM will look like for City games if we het relegated again and the Allams remain in charge.

    Mebbe its a Hull thing and we just want it for **** all?

    Believe it or not it was a far bigger problem at the rugby then it ever was for the football. Security man told me that at one FC game 80% of the crowd were on concessions and at another game a spot check at one turnstile alone 120 adults were found to be using childrens tickets in less then an hour.
    One problem at City was people buying childrens passes to save seats for the more attractive games, espically in the Premier League and simply upgrading them when they fancied popping along to see the game of their choice.

    They don't really score the atmosphere and entertainment for any game, do they?
