F1 at Silverstone should rolls straight into the Murray vs Raonic final, then France winning the Euros tonight (I hope). Enjoy everyone...hope you've got comfy couches for the day.
What a day for sports fans today. The British Grand Prix, Wimbledon Men's Final, Euro Football Final, a monster stage in the Pyrenees in the Tour de France, the remote control is going to take a hammering...
Yea Sooper, a super(sorry ) day of sport ahead. We also have an absolute belter of a hurling match on today in Ireland, so will be flicking between that and the men's final. Don't forget the final day of the Scottish Open too.
I don't follow sports too closely, but I do want to wish Andy Murray and Team Sky all the best as they try to win the British Grand Prix for Portugal today.
I obviously don't know the outcome of the Wimbledon men's final, but I can say with certainty that either there'll be a British champion or a Scottish runner-up today.
It was meant to be Fury v Klitschko this weekend too Couldn't give a toss about the cycling or F1. Wimbledon I'll watch for ten minutes and fall asleep to hopefully- it's sport for people who don't like sport.
Well I'm not working today and really looking forward to enjoying a sporting bonanza with a Canadian in the Wimbledon final. At Silverstone a few moments ago:- please log in to view this image
First blood to the Brits - winning first ever wheelchair singles at Wimbledon (yes, there was nothing else on at the time). Now Hamilton gets a freebee start behind the safety car at Silverstone - this will probably be decided by timing of tyre changes and pit-stops.
Don't like Murray, but in my eyes he and Djokovic are the 2 best athletes in the world. Incredible stamina and will to win, wish the Hoops had a few players like them !
He's had Raonic under pressure on his own serve throughout the match, he should ease home comfortably if he maintains his form...
Just getting to the business end of today's stage in the Tour, riding through hailstones up the final climb...
Froome under serious pressure, he'll do well to hold on to his lead without any teammates to help out..
Froome did well to meet all attacks on that climb, two or three of his challengers faded so he'll be well pleased to have a rest day now. Yates and Martin riding brilliantly to stay in the lead group...
Bravo Andy, magnificent performance from a terrific competitor. Why oh why did he split up with Lendl in the first place,he gives him that extra 1% mentally that makes him nigh on impossible to beat !
