Still not been launched but lots of rumours that it might look like this... please log in to view this image I quite like that - What do you think? Then again I might just buy the blue Training kit.
It's hard to be offended by but there's very little imagination or design gone into it. I could have knocked that up in five minutes.
That example is one person's interpretation of how the kit is apparently going to be. So it will be white with a blue sash. The person who did that posts on smb. Here's the template he designed it from as it's believed to be this template which is being used for the actual strip please log in to view this image So many designs on that thread and some cracking away top ideas. Worth the browsing. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/new-kit-unveiled.1238626/
That example looks sharp and clean, but it looks more like a training top/t-shirt than an 'away' strip, to me I'm not 'sold' on this 'continental' (to me) design
I liked the green strip and have also bought the pink third strip which seems to offend some people..
Matter of opinion but I think they are the worst 2 strips we have ever had. Having said that my son has both cos he likes them. I havent bought this seasons home one as Im not keen on the gold bit. Guess I'm just fussy. I would buy that blue one if it comes out. The training shirts look canny and I think I will buy a few of them to wear at the match next season. Not all at once mind. Unless its cold.
You wear what you like mate, this is 21st Century Britain. People fought for your right to wear that pink shirt for years!
The first away kit that I bought was this one Le Coq Sportif. About the same time Big Sam played for us. please log in to view this image
I used to wear this a lot when I was younger. The missus decided to have a clear out one day and yes she gave it away to some clothes bank
The old badge is easily recognisable to the average person, the latest one is not. I would start a petition to return to the old badge, if I could be arsed.
http://historicalkits.co.uk/Sunderland/Sunderland.htm an interesting read regarding our strips and badges through history. The floodlights kit from 1955 may have looked rather spangly!
