    Nice work Mr Bull

They probably ****ing killed it out the back after though

****ing **** deserves it and a most painful death, as does every other ****ing **** involved in watching and putting on this barbaric ****

Hopefully it gets banned for good now, would be ironic but predictable that only a human death could stop it

They have to after those spears sever it's neck muscles to stop it lifting it's head and weaken it's shoulders.

Leadsom wants to repeal the fox-hunting ban - but that's different, cos we're British, dontyerknow?

Pretty sure that isn't a spectator "sport" on national TV
A few sickos getting moist at the sight of fox blood is not quite the same as it being a national pass time.
Leadsom can **** off anyway, that will never be repealed now, the country has grown up a little since those days.

No, it just happens illegally and the RSPCA is crucified by the Mail and telegraph and masonic judges when it dares to prosecute the upper class hooligans and their forelock tugging, inbred, yokel, flying monkeys.

Why does it matter how many people are watching it? It's only barbaric if it's on tv, then?
    Give over.
As for the last bit, I hope you're right, but the last few weeks have made me lose any lingering vestige of respect for, and faith in, the moral perspective of our politicians.

Sadly, I really doubt it has.

Nope, it means I wouldn't blame the majority of a country's population for the actions of a sick few, if fox hunting ever became popular enough to be on national TV my opinion of England would be the same, "barbaric country".

The "sport" was banned for a reason, do you think it would make any party/group more popular to try and have it reinstated?

I'm not saying there's a massive groundswell of public opinion clamouring for the repeal of the ban - I'd assume the vast majority of the country is either against fox hunting or doesn't care enough to actively want the ba lifted.

But I don't think that the country has particularly "grown-up" in the last 12 years.

German TV showed the Brazil vs. Germany match live on national TV, that was pretty barbaric. People were crying, unable to believe the horrific events in front of them that would live with them for the rest of their lives, while all the time the Germans were cheering and celebrating.

    Barbaric, I tell you.

I doubt there'll be a referendum over it.:)
I think it's exactly the sort of thing that would appeal to the large number of backward-looking reactionaries that infest the Tory party. Their whole ideology is based on turning the clock back to a "better" time.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if they went for it. Nothing will surprise me after the complete ****ing dog's dinner they've made of everything lately.

It's never stopped and the law is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

There's still circa 250,000 people participating in fox hunting in this country. I live in an area where it's still as much part of the country sets pastimes as its always been.
