It's usually easier than that; just see which entries are handled by one of two trainers (Wohler - Schiergen), check who is the jockey and get fired in. A wee bit like past years in the UK/Ireland with Godolphin and Coolmore only more concentrated!

    16:35 Newmarket - Waady e/w

(For my Saturday punt will take the 33/1 generally available e/w. Might run well if ground stays good-to-firm).

    Ascot 210 Aventinus 315 Mutakayyef 350 Paulownia
Chester 200 Full Intention 230 Tarboosh 305 Yattwee
    Newmarket 215 Dubara 250 Spiritous 400 Cunco
York 155 Dundunah 225 Monotype 340 Quest for More

These are ALL singles doubles and a treble at each meeting!
To avoid any doubt this is gambling, not guaranteed winning otherwise we would all be richer!
No need to fall out, be bitchy or rude if someones opinion on a race proves wrong!

Usual caveat – do not shoot the messenger. I have had two tips:

A friend of mine has sent me War Decree in the Superlative Stakes (4:00). Since he does not know anyone in Ireland, let alone Ballydoyle, this might have originated as a telephone tipster not inside info.

The other one I have been given is in the 4:25 at Ascot, Mustaaqeem. I have to say I was at Newbury the day that he was well beaten favourite in a mile handicap and I am not sure he wants the extra two furlongs on pedigree.

What a nightmare weekend from a betting point of view. Great racing from a spectator point of view but most of the form is useless as it was on soft ground at places like Royal Ascot.

At 4:00, all eyes will be on Cunco in the Superlative Stakes at HQ. Five of his opponents have run once – won once and could be anything, but we will all be cheering him on against South Seas and War Decree.

The big race is the July Cup (4:35). I know they are desperate to run Arod anywhere on fast ground but he surely has not got the speed for this one (he won at Ascot over a mile this day last year). There have been some upsets in recent years but I do not see one today. Hold-up horses could be at a disadvantage as they were yesterday. Whilst I like Profitable, I cannot have him stepping up to six against the best. I simply do not believe that top juvenile Air Force Blue has trained on. I really like Karl Burke’s Quiet Reflection but I think that she needs give underfoot, so although she gets load of weight from her elders she may have to settle for a place. Henry Candy is doubly represented: Limato has been messed about, trying the mile in the Lockinge last time after a close second over seven at Longchamp; but TWILIGHT SON will be okay on the ground and can beat ultra-consistent Magical Memory again.

Over at York, the City Wall Stakes (4:50) is very open with only 5lbs covering a number of key contenders. Strictly on his second to Quiet Reflection, Kachy should be favourite but drops a furlong. Muthmir has been disappointing this season and whilst James McDonald has been picking up some winners for Godolphin, Pretend’s form is almost entirely not on turf. Monsieur Joe was touched off by Brando at Sandown last week but the one for me is Michael Dods’ grey EASTON ANGEL, winner of a fast-ground Listed race last time and looking to complete a hat-trick.

At Ascot in the 5:00, I really like hat-trick seeking filly Desert Haze as the 6lb rise for her last win is not enough to stop her but the bookies can see that too and she is a little short for me to get involved in a competitive heat.

Racing post are ****ing hilarious on their pick for one horse in each race for stats <laugh> really need to get some new stats. Basically on Monday in stats for one of the races it said " Robert Winston is showing a profit of £86 this season.. " Anyway, every single day in one of the races he has rode in they've had the same ****ing stat gradually decreasing, anyway thought i'd check out 3pm york and i said i bet a tenner its winston stat... " Robert Winston is showing a profit of £81.23 this season " <laugh> <laugh>

Chelsea's Boy 5 35 Ascot 16/1 expected to go well for Mr Cox. Hope it follows another win from Profitable in the big one

Been a while since I took a good look at a Saturday flat card and like a few today.
Tipp 3.10-Been given Takeachanceonme as a decent Ew chance at 12s
Tipp 5.55- Ocean Glandore hasn't shown much this season but is very ground dependant and should like today's going
Backed him ew 9s last night and see some money has come in and is now 11/2 with most firms.
Nmt 4.35-Quiet Reflection must have an excellent chance based on her fine peformance in the Commonwealth Cup.She seems to go on any ground and receives weight all round,10/1 could seem like a gift if she goes in!
York 4.40-Easton Angel is unbeaten this season and is a c&d winner and should go very close at 13/2
