Morning all, it is warm already and is likely to get very warm this afternoon. 33°C forecast in the shade. Another 2°C and I will have to describe it as hot. Back to the hospital this morning so that Mme can be released from her 24 hour blood pressure monitor. It is not enjoyable having you arm compressed every 15 minutes day and night. I hope they are not so busy today as she had to wait for 30 minutes before she was seen yesterday. Standards are slipping.
Goodly morning everybody - forecaast was for a fine dry day here but it is looking more like we are about to have some rain - shame - was going to cut the grass so hope it does not arrive or come to much
Morning all, looks like another warm day ahead. The holiday season has started and by 6.00 pm last night the autoroutes were reporting long tailbacks at the toll booths. The routes south had 650 kms of traffic jams at 7.00 am today, made worse by the Dutch and Belgians starting their summer breaks. The police are out in force to catch anyone speeding, although some seem to believe it is a ploy to raise revenue rather that promote safer driving.
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Blimey, Dave, the nights are drawing in, ain't they? I'm only awake due to stress-induced insomnia - how d'you do this every day?
D'you reckon you'll come up on the bounce, Dave, and who do you see as being your main threat to that? It looks like a bloody horrible division to me.
O'm always optimistic Andy, but as you say, anyone can beat anyone in this division! I'll reserve judgement!
Morning all - got the grandchildren visiting today - itching to get down to the beach - and we have our first rain for 10 days Grrr
Humid in Jersey this morning so could do with some rain or even a storm but I'm not sure the organisers of the Polish festival in town would agree.
