We too are proud of the boyos <ok> Shame about last night, badly missed Ramsey, but each of them can have no regrets - they've been fantastic and we look forward to the future!

2 world class players in our side, we need them both to be competitive at tournament level. No regrets though, we had a brilliant tournament and the players did the country proud <ok>

cheers for the kind words qprted, we really enjoyed this competition for that same reason you mention, "the passion shown" <ok>.....you don't see much of it these days because of the stupid money making them greedy and self obsessed, pity really because the foundation of thy beautiful game was created by the working classes for the working classes.

again thanks for your positive post its nice 2see its not only us taffs that enjoyed the spirit and fight on display......lets hope its the start of a bright future for the youth playing today and we push on from here <ale>

Well done indeed, but why is there an open top bus parade? You need to win something to have one of those.

I'd forgotten about that. I guess the Iceland team did the same as you guys in celebration of higher than expected achievement. They won't be happy you nicked their chant though and are probably pissing on your Cod as we speak.

I've only seen one open top bus parade myself.

Maybe, but at least we didn't piss on our own chips like your lot - I've never seen such a demoralised bunch.

Never mind, WC qualifiers next - I just hope we get you........<laugh>

Pompeymouth! You really are an ungracious individual. One thing one learns as life goes on is to gracious in success and defeat. Both Iceland and Wales are entitled to a gracious celebration of our achievements. They are, indeed, beyond expectation. When you, one day, exceed your expectations, you , too, can have a celebration. However, due, in part, to unachievable expectations and, otherwise, to the poor teams you support, you will be a long time before such an event. In the meantime, you can learn some graciousness. Then again, perhaps, I have now got unachievable expectations of you?

How could you forget Gazza and his plastic tits.

Just for old times sake you should have one with Hodgson and his useless tits.

Why did England have an open top bus parade for losing in the 1990 world cup semi final?

You just don't get how massive this achievement was for a tiny nation like Wales.

A few of the teams left in the tournament nicked their chant, including France. Those who went home early didn't have the chance to nick it, although Engerland had the chance to admire it as they left the stadium <laugh>

My Liverpool supporting English neighbour spoke to me for the first time in a few days yesterday. He asked me if my tears had dried after defeat to Portugal. I told him my tears hadn't had as long to dry as his had.

Nice one Ted. Totally agree with the sentiments if not the practicalities. Lol!!! It would be good if the rivalry was just banter based.

I seem to remember the Jacks hiring in open top buses from the West of England rather than go to Cardiff Bus to use their buses when they achieved something. Now what the heck was it..........................??
