I personally really like the design and think if it is fake, the legitimate will have to go some way to be as good as this. I think its different to anything ive seen and its a clean modern shirt which could potentially sell really well. I hope they don't replicate the shirt from the 09/10 season with the tiny lines for stripes as that just looked awful.

Plastering the word tiger on everything (you know, cos we're 'The Tigers', get it?) is the exact opposite of classy.

It's the name of the company. <doh>

I happen to find an airline sponsor classier than a gambling company.

If you made it transparent then the writing on the sponsor wouldn't be black it would be grey and on the mock up its quite clearly black, there would also be a change in colour of the amber on the shirt which there isn't. Also the faded sash goes to the base, which would make the overlay really odd dimensions.

I don't believe for a second the kit is genuine but your reasoning is flawed.

As neither club, CEO or the communications officer are giving them anything to run with, maybe this is a cunning plan to draw a response out of them.

Simple journalistic rule - ask the subject for comment.

How do you know they didn't?

Also its free publicity for a the clubs kit launch, why would they complain?

Is tapping the phone of murdered schoolgirls another journalistic rule that should be followed.

They only rules they have are get the story first, regardless of cost or price & hide behind "sources".

I bet the club knew and like the publicity and comment.

They may even have leaked it to see what the reaction was. Just as a maybe for the future

    I doubt they weren't asked

Well no, it's an abhorrent example of journalism.

Doubt it's real based on the lack of detail on the inside of the collar. All the other Unbro kits have the coordinates of the stadium along with an image unique to the relevant club

The article is framed as "Would you like this if it was the new kit" so it can be seen as speculation.

    I like it
    I assume it's a fake
I don't think the sponsor will be anyone with tiger in their title

They can't the club to talk to them about anything, they think they've been too critical of the club re the name change and membership scheme.

Which is ironic, as they're regularly accused online of not being critical enough.

RH have a similar problem, though the club make an exception for Burnsy.
