Case dismissed, free to play. Good news for new season, sad that it came when it did and what could have been in terms of lesgue placing a and EL final though.
The farce is he's had his reputation ruined for taking something that wasn't even banned ffs Take the ****s to the cleaners I say.
He's not totally innocent. He took a substance outside of the club without even consulting the doctors or dieticians, who I assume would have certainly said no. Banned substance or not, it could be something detrimental to his health and affected his game and life for the worst. He was very ignorant. I remember Suarez used to have that weird south American drink with him all the time, of which he consulted with the club to confirm it was ok for him to drink.
It was banned. The issue is that it shouldn't have been banned, but when he took it it was a banned substance. I think ink he's a lucky bit as could have been a lot worse. Yes he missed EL final and Euros but he could have been out for a year or so if they'd be strict.
Who gives a ****. He took something that, at the time, shouldn't have. He's got off lightly with the substance no longer being banned. What's happened as happened. We move on.

i should hope so as at present it seems contradictory how can you test positive for something that is not on the proscribed list. only thing i can come up with is UEFA put it on their list but it wasn't on WADAs but even so if UEFA list was circulated you are still guilty but can ask for a reduced sentence due to mitigating circumstances
It isn't a banned substance hence he's been dismissed. It shouldn't have been on the list. Total **** up all round.
It was when he took it. He's got away with a lengthy ban because it's been removed from the banned list. I think people need to put themselves in the FA's shoes when Sakho tested positive. Let him play and find him guilty;Liverpool players and fans would have been fuming had we win the EL only to see it taken away. Ban him and remove the possibility.
Do you think he looked at the list and thought "**** man, that shouldn't be on there" and so took it anyway?
