Marcelo Bielsa has resigned as Lazio manager, just TWO days after taking the job.

 

He has a bit of a track record for walking out of jobs not long after he starts them.

I was genuinely looking forward to seeing him in action, he was a real coup for a middling club like Lazio.

The mildly amusing part is the sporting director had worked all summer on transfers he felt were needed, on his appointment Bielsa overruled them and said he wanted none of said players, they pulled out of the deals and then lost them elsewhere. So now they have none of the players they wanted and the same manager from last season in charge who they had overlooked for this season.

Actually, it's not even mildly amusing...
