...... will there be trouble? I know there's a lot of fuss with the Mags but the only punch they've actually landed recently was on a horse. In my experience we've had much more serious problems with Boro who seem to have a huge chip on their shoulder ........ although that might just be a deformity caused by the smog clouds. As they'll be coming, blinking like pit ponies, into the Stadium of Light and believing they're replacing Newcastle as our rivals will they be acting themselves when they come here? I think there's a much greater likelihood especially with it being the first time they've been away from home.
I'll be get the train to Thornaby and switching on to the Boro to Sunderland train so I'll let you know
There will be trouble, without a doubt, Smug, 'cos they seem to have a need to prove that they're a 'big club' like the two north east teams (one of which they've replaced) . . . . and they're ****ing idiots (with 'puddled' brains caused by the aforementioned smog) Comparatively speaking, they are not a 'big club' . . . . they're a small club, from a small town in Yorkshire Their 'derby' match will always be against Darlo or 'Pools . . . . whenever they play them We should bear in mind the fact that this game, although it means nothing to us, it is a real treat for them
I have done that train a few times in the past when we have played them and each time, there's very few boro lads on it, they will all probably be hitch-hiking up the A19. Anyway if you are meeting my lad on train you will be ok, he knows more boro lads than Sunderland lads..
Hope he's going. Will try and time it so I get on the same train as him. Have you had chance to work out when you can make a game mate?
Was texting Dan the other night about it, looking October/November, nice to have a lads meet-up. I will get something sorted with carers and let you know. I'm sure QWOP will grace us too, he's dropping in for a catch-up Sunday so I will mention it..
Has he got his strip yet? Is he going with brand spanking new kit or is he going with a mishmash of older kits.
Knowing QWOP and me, it will be a mishmash, I will have a delve in the loft and shed ..he probably end up looking like a liquorice allsort..
Hope he knows he's going to be a full kit ****er on Twitter. I'm going to make him go viral. When a mag losses a bet with himself
Boros Frontline firm used to be notorious and respected up and down the country. Most of the old guard have got banning orders etc now. Nowadays its mainly young lads between 16 and 25 trying to make a name for themselves. They caused bother most games they played last season.
Just like the old days.. Remember Peter Mea? Well believe it or not he used to run with the lads in his teens.. Hard to imagine isn't it..
