lived 17 years in Poole shak's watched Bournemouth many times on cold winter nights with 3k fans if they were lucky. <ok>
when they built their new stadium one side was left open and they were begging for handouts to help them survive.

Every one of the new players have mentioned the 'new project', which to me means Monk and Co have told them we are going for it this season. I hope we are but pissed off with Taylor who is being badly advised. Can't fault Cook for getting a massive pay rise.

It also looks like Cellino has pumped in £42.5m according to accounts, why haven't GFH paid their share as it looks like they will benefit greatly if we do anything this season. 20%+ value rising all the time so far

So, you are on the verge of sellling the one rough diamond amongst the dead carcases?

You have bought in a 36 year old keeper (who is taking a 50% pay cut and only taking home £20K per week)
A striker from the Viking pub league that nobody had heard of.
    A League 2 striker.
    2 Swansea reserves.

    Good luck next season <cheers>

I believe Cook wanted out any way, he wasn't in no hurry to sign an extended contract and TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if Redders is still in his ear.

It's no secret I thought Cook brought no impact to team and I think it's best he goes and we find better to replace him, someone who can create through passes, have a few good shots on goal and can track back to help our defence, everything Cook didn't do. Murphy and Mowatt should be next.

For Monk to tell Silvestri to go back to ER and train with U21's is shamefull on Monks part, he's lost part of me for that type of behaviour.

I hope Taylor stays, but you can't keep a player against his own wishes, it would be detrimental to team.

So Silvestri is on his way out, we're losing a better keeper than Green imo, and I think Monk is going to live to regret it. Green has made his own fair share of blunders, at International level too, I'm not convinced on Green.

I'm not as convinced about Monk as I was earlier, Green for Silvestri, keeping Bamba and getting rid of Bellusci, what next, telling Berardi to find another club. I will give Monk his dues on signing Antonsson, but like every player Monk signs, they all have to prove themselves, including players already here.

Right now, my confidence in a successfull promotion push is waning, but I hope I'm wrong. I think there's going to be a few disappointed fans with some of the players Monk brings in.

IMO Cook wasn't a big impact for our team, he obviously wanted to leave, for money or otherwise so it's best to let him go and bring in someone better, there's plenty out there.

All the big clubs who were reportedly watching Cook soon backed off and lost interest and you're right Eire, there's no big clubs interested in him any more, Cook obviously hasn't got what they're looking for.

So let me see if I have this right.

    We have signed

    1. a clapped out goalkeeper that has spent the last year sat in his arse. Only a one year contract so he won't give a ****.

    2. A swede even wiki has never heard of.

    3. A fourth division striker that is a cheapo option that countless clubs sniffed out but didn't fancy..

And Cellino has sold his best player for the tenth year on the spin!

Anyone care to tell me why you think Cellino is the man to lead us?

Cellino let him get to the last year o his contract it's what Cokey cokeyheadio does. Cook would have signed an extension last close season.....

Only because I wasn't here. Old white nostrils should have had him on a two year extension last year. Even if it was only to add £5mill to the fee. Taylor is also on his way.... Liverpool.

Unlike yourself I don't suck on anyone's pipe. But you must be impressed with the close season so far. You've called for the exit of Silvestri bellusci sloth and antennuci so they're all gone or going. Good news there for you. They've been replaced by either pl players or prolific strikers. Also good news. Only slight blot is a player in Cook leaving who no longer wants to be part of the Leeds project. So well replace him and move on

    Stronger <laugh>
    Green
    Berardi, Bartley, Cooper, Taylor
    Diagourara, Grimes
    Dallas, Roofe, Sacko
    Wood

If you think that line-up is remotely good enough to get you in the top 15, you must have had 5 gallons of guinness <laugh>

Bridcutt, Cook, Antennucci, or Bellusci would all improve that team <ok>
