I'm rather glad that I don't get to games very often - both of those changes would p**s me right off...<grr>

We need players with names like Ron and Bert and Alf to cope with a wet Monday night in Burnley. This is just a plot by Sky to send us down this season.

Got all excited by the thread title, only to be thoroughly disappointed. For the record, this is a TV game:

Are you not able to flex when you visit? Are not Inernational breaks set out miles in advance? I am guessing not or you would do it

Watford needs Wiggs, Wood, Walley and Welbourne for northern Monday nights. (Sorry - showing my age) Next you will have OFH or Vic with some 50s names :)

It's not that old. It did have a crank-handle, but it's not that old. ;)

Ooh, the Squash version was amazing. My sister and I used to have extraordinary marathon Snickers games of that. It was also the very modern end to Crackerjack in the mid to late seventies, too.

I had decided to cut down on some away games next season after my mammoth stint last season. But one of the games that was on my "must go to" list was Burnley away as for some strange numbers of reasons I have not been there (but Little Miss W_Y has - drat!). Well, the hotel is now booked for that Monday night and days booked off from work - my football break is coming to an end! Train tickets to Soton are also booked - I am going there every time until we beat the buggers!

I remember when they first put one of those into The White Horse in Leverstock Green - there used to be a queue to play on it.

Clearly a time when pubs were reliant on proper 'TV games' and Sky was summat we all sat under, instead of in front of. ;)

OK, then, tactics... Did you sit under a house and shoot the middle out and get the aliens that way? I never found a better way but am happy to learn from you and Saxet. :D
