Sydney seems like a nice fella but I don't mean this in a bad way but sometimes I think he would have different opinions on players if he was actually at games, like Robbie Brady for example. I know this isn't possible but if you are going to have really rock solid opinions on players you need to have seen them in the flesh, I wouldn't make controversial comments on our players if I'd just seen them on the TV. Doesn't make our foreign supporters and ex-pats any lesser fans it's just an opinion I have.
Why what does he think about Brady? I assume by 'controversial' you mean he doesnt rate him but I've seen him play in the flesh 50 plus times and I wouldnt sign him back for £2million. Never beats his man on the outside, crosses from far too deep, too slow to be in our team - we ripped Norwich off with him almost as much as they did us with Snodgrass...
There aren't that many players about in world football tearing past players on the outside really are there? No slower than Snodders either
Sadly some of the others think it is. '.....'............ No Sydney Tigers were harmed during the devising of this poll.
I know he's not slower than Snodgrass. That's because he's the slowest wide midfielder in the history of the game.
Although his arguments are annoying, if you don't like it, ignore him! But if you ignore everyone who argues then there'd be nothing left!
I think the game has moved on mate, in our day ( am assuming you are about my era) you would want players beating their man all the time but with the balls and tactics these days it doesn't really matter much any more, that pesky David Beckham is to blame for me with his inability to sprint past players
I like referendums, especially one where you might catch just a glimpse of Theresa Mays ankles........now thats a classy lady........and I bet she would keep you up all night
I like doofus I don't mean that Sydney is a doofus and I like him, but just the word doofus as an insult (v mild) Sydney in...anyone and everyone in...we're 'inclusive'
