According to the only poll of Tory members so far the breakdown was: May 54%, Leadsom 20%, Gove 16%, Crabb 5%, Fox 5%

That compares with the MP vote of 199 for May. 84 for Leadsom and 46 for Gove.

Even with some of Gove's support, Leadsom has a lot of ground to make up. Crabb and Fox are now supporting May.

I know. Just feels wrong happening on a street I often walk down. If this sort of thing happens in Norwich God only knows how bad it must be elsewhere.

I know Norwich is by no means perfect but I've always lovd it's friendly atmosphere and general tolerance and it is sad for me to see this start to change. I just hope that this proves to be a one off.

Firstly, according to yhe edp it was a mainly Romanian shop, secondly there is no evidence at this point that it was; race, Brexit or hate related. I'm not saying it wasn't, but eastern Europeans are hardly known for being an angelic community, so before we start saying Brexit this that and the other, let's let the fuzz do there job and find the culprits. It could as easily be that they failed to pay the right protection! Although sadly it was probably some racist moron!

    Bah!

General, was told it was Polish but you are correct. I don't think either of my posts linked the attack to Brexit however I did imply it was race related. If it was then that is bad. If they were victims of a protection racket that is also bad and a disgrace to the city.

I am not a Tory and certainly have no say in who our next PM is. However, it is very clear that we need Theresa May to win as Leadsom looks to be out of her depth and leaving herself open to be misquoted through clumsy narrative and dodgy CV's. Her experience in Parliament has been only 6 years and having backed a campaign that she fundamentally disagreed with only 2 years earlier (like somebody else!) she appears to be unfit to lead out country at a time when we need the coolest head we can find. Of the 5 that stood May was the clear favourite and I hope that the blue rinse brigade don't f*ck this vote up like they did the last one!

Interestingly before the living wage was brought in companies were falling over themselves to tell us how it would lead to massive job cuts. But it would appear that this isn't happening at the moment

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36760387

Would seem that some companies are putting prices up or cutting profit levels. Maybe it might help the BOE get nearer to it's inflation target.

That's because the existing one negotiated by the EU has been tremendous - increased bilateral trade between the two countries by more than 100%.

So of course they want another one in case this one gets cancelled. The only real question is whether they will be prepared to offer us as good terms or will see this as a prime opportunity to take advantage.

You really have unquestioningly swallowed every single sound bite coming out of the Leave campaign. It is remarkable.
